NorthernWaters Museum

Originally it was the Ski Chalet for the Gateway Hotel, and today it hosts the NorthernWaters Museum.
Designed by architect Robert Messmer, of Milwaukee, built 1937, and moved to its current location, 2000.

And the old Barefoot Charlie's billboard which stood on the side of the highway near the bar until just a few years
ago has now been re-erected at the museum. Several confused tourists have mistaken the museum for the bar.
